  40. To send a FAX, just press your SEND key.  If for some reason that does
  41. not work, then press "77#" anytime after the voice answer to activate
  42. the FAX.

  44. The latest version of Share-TAX/1040 will always be uploaded (under file
  45. name "STAX92.ZIP") to Compuserve and GENIE.  It will also be distributed
  46. via the SDNet/Works!, a nationwide network of BBSs.  Therefore, it is
  47. likely that you can download the latest version from a BBS local to you.

  50.                        Using the INSTALL Program
  51.  
  52. If you received the program from a shareware distributor in "packed" form,
  53. you must first "unpack" it according to their instructions (the fact that
  54. you are reading this means either that you must have already done so, or
  55. you did not receive it in packed format).
  56.  
  57. Place the original diskette (or diskette containing unpacked files) in drive
  58. "A:" or "B:".  Then at the DOS prompt, type "A:INSTALL" or "B:INSTALL",
  59. respectively, and answer the questions.
  60.  
  61.                    IF YOU HAVE A MONOCHROME SCREEN
  62.  
  63. If you have a monochrome screen and you have difficulty reading it, start
  64. the program in monochrome mode by running with the /B option (run it by
  65. typing "STAX92 /B" at the DOS prompt).  This may not be necessary with all
  66. monochrome screens, but is likely to be quite necessary with some laptops. 
  67. You should then select "monochrome" on the COLOR screen, and next time you
  68. run the program it will remember your preferences without typing the "/B". 
  69.  
  70.                    OLDER COMPUTERS WITHOUT A MOUSE
  71.  
  72. If you have an older computer without a mouse, the program may hang when
  73. you try to run it, and you must re-boot the computer.  If this happens,
  74. just run the program with the /M option.  This will cause the program to
  75. not execute any mouse functions at all.  For example, at the DOS prompt
  76. type: "STAX92 /M".
  77.  
  78.                               DOCUMENTATION
  79.  
  80. Complete documentation is in file STAX92.MAN, which is best viewed or
  81. printed while running the program.  Select the "About/View Manual" or
  82. "Print/Print Manual" pull-down menu functions.
